Marlissa is of counsel to the firm and focuses her practice on employment law.
Marlissa has been practicing law since 1991. She has substantial experience representing individuals and businesses in employment matters. With a focus on resolving disputes before they reach the litigation stage, she brings substantial mediation experience to her practice.
When litigation is inevitable, she has experience before state and federal courts and agencies in cases involving claims of discrimination and wrongful termination. She regularly advises individuals with respect to employment and severance agreements.
In addition, she counsels management regarding a broad range of employment practices, such as hiring and termination decisions, employee discipline, personnel policies, wage and hour classifications, and claim investigations.
