October 6, 2008 OCM congratulates its partner, Tom O'Connor, on completing the
acquisition of Marathon Capital Group, LLC by Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC
("Silvercrest"). Tom co-founded Marathon in March 2000, and helped build its assets to
approximately $600 million at the time of the acquisition. Tom's experience as COO, compliance
officer and general counsel of Marathon, in addition to his nearly 30 years of complex litigation
and workout experience, will be invaluable to OCM's clients as Tom returns to the full-time
practice of law in October 2008.
June 2008 OCM wishes former associate Rene Reyes the best as he leaves the firm to serve as a
Climenko Fellow at Harvard Law School, in which position he will teach first-year legal research and writing.
November 2007 OCM welcomes Marlissa Briggett, who joins the firm "of counsel" to lead
the expansion of the Firm's employment law practice. Marlissa is a graduate of Harvard College
and Boston College Law School and was formerly with the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
September 2007 OCM welcomes Tara Myslinski to the Firm as an associate. Tara is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Boston College Law School.
August 28, 2007 After 6-day jury trial and post trial motions, OCM wins judgment upholding the corporate veil, protecting parent company from liability for contractual obligations of failed subsidiary.
July 13, 2007 OCM wins summary judgment in favor of widower on $1 million life insurance policy, with leave to prosecute claims for bad faith insurance settlement practices.

December 17, 2004 QOC secures summary judgment in favor of its client on all counts of the
plaintiffs' complaint in the Middlesex Probate Court in a dispute over entitlement to approximately
$24 million held in three trusts.
November 24, 2004 QOC has executed a lease to move its Burlington office to new and larger space.
The Firm expects to occupy its new location at 8 New England Executive Park, Suite 310, Burlington, MA 01803 on
or before January 1, 2005.
September 7, 2004 The Firm has launched its newsletter, Session Watch, which will provide a
quarterly summary and analysis of significant decisions of the Massachusetts Superior Court Business
Litigation Session.
August 17, 2004 Sean Carnathan has joined the editorial board of "Litigation News,"
one of the primary publications of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
April 13, 2004 The Massachusetts Appeals Court affirms a summary judgment in favor
of QOC's client, Franklin Square Apartments, Inc., in Fabiano v. Boston Redevelopment Authority, Appeal No. 02-P-489.
